The safety of our staff, students and client is of utmost importance to us. That is why, in accordance with the recent WA state mandate, we are temporarily closed for all classes and spa appointments until April 27, 2020.
To recap the most recent developments:
Yesterday, March 16, 2020 - the Governor announced statewide closure of entertainment, leisure and non-essential services in an emergency proclamation that went into effect at midnight and will be in place through March 31st.
There have been a large number of phone calls and emails with questions about how this proclamation affects businesses specific license type. In light of these questions, here is some additional clarity.
This statewide closure of entertainment, leisure and non-essential services includes all salon shops (hair, nails, esthetician, and waxing services), and all tattoo parlors regardless of the number of individuals present or the location where the non-essential services are being provided.
The intention of the proclamation is to prohibit all non-essential leisure and recreational activities for everyone’s health and safety to limit the amount of unnecessary exposure and interactions between people during this critical time.
We know this is a difficult and fluid situation. At this unique time, it is everyone’s responsibility to follow the Governors proclamation. It is also a time to come together to keep our families safe and ensure social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.
