Brighter, Healthier Skin: "C" the Difference

When it comes to getting brighter and healthier-looking skin, Vitamin C is a key ingredient that benefits all skin types, including sensitive. It’s powerful concentration of antioxidants make it a staple of skincare.

An important benefit of Vitamin C is its ability to noticeably improve the appearance of collagen-deprived skin and reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation (photo damage), giving your skin a more even-toned and brightened complexion. Vitamin C has been widely studied and clinical trials have proven its wide range of benefits.

Why Do I Care?

Vitamin C is a natural antioxidant, helping to protect the skin from the damaging effects of UV rays. It also promotes collagen production resulting in a reduction of the appearance of fine lines. Its brightening power helps balance out skin tone (with regular use) minimizing the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation on the skin. When paired with other antioxidants, like Vitamin E and ferulic acid (both contained in our Vitamin C Serum), the results are maximized.

Clinical studies have shown results in visibility of fine lines and a reduction in appearance of hyperpigmentation when used as part of a daily skincare regimen over a 12-week course.

It’s difficult to get enough Vitamin C to reach the skin through supplements or foods high in C, like citrus fruits. It’s important to apply a “C” skincare product topically to the skin to your regimen and use it daily to appreciate its benefits. Vitamin C is super hydrating, helping to banish dry, dehydrated and environmentally damaged skin. Even if your skincare routine is minimalist at best – adding a Vitamin C serum step is a smart consideration, particularly if your skin is environmentally challenged or dry. Vitamin C nourishes and protects and in a stable form (like our Botanicals Vitamin C serum and moisturizer) is safe for sensitive skin. Use morning and evening, after cleansing and toning to protect against those nasty free radicals.

Or Vitamin C serum contains hyaluronic and ferulic acid which are a power combination for added hydration and nourishing effects. It’s highly stable form of L-ascorbic acid and contains over 200 active compounds including vitamins E & B, minerals including zinc and amino acids.

Euro Botanicals Advanced Vitamin C Crème is a nourishing moisturizer containing tamanu oil, which is highly emollient with antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. A natural UV absorber, it is anti-aging and cell regenerating. Cocoa butter helps prevent skin dehydration by locking in moisture. Sodium ascorbyl phosphate is a stable, advanced form of vitamin C that won’t oxidize on contact with skin.

Vitamin C is your super ingredient to help combat winter skin woes!
