The gate’s wide open for the holiday season, and if you’re anything like us, it’s probably one of the busiest times for you all year. But that can be a good problem to have, and here in Seattle we look forward to the signature activities that signal the holidays are in full swing. While you’re concentrating on all the merry and bright going on around you, however, don’t forget that a good, consistent skincare routine is even more important to keeping your face fresh and glowing during the holidays. And be sure to book an appointment with your esthetician to keep glowing wherever you go! Read on to see the products we’re pairing with some of our favorite holiday activities.

11/24-12/31/23. Connect to a world of sparkling lights, amusements, and spirited entertainment at Seattle Center Winterfest. Throughout the five weeks of Winterfest, you’ll find everything you need to get you in seasonal spirit including holiday decor, the Winter Train & Village, weekend entertainment on the Armory Stage, and a New Year’s Eve Celebration. And after a night at the Center, relax with a cup of apple spice tea or hot chocolate and a quick, easy, skin reviving sheet mask. Choose from Age-Defying, Calming, or Brightening. It’s the perfect pick me up and it will get your skin right back on track.

11/24-12/23/23. (check the sailing schedule). Seattle’s totally unique and beloved holiday on the water – who doesn’t love the Christmas ships season. Argosy Cruises Christmas Ship Festival is a ship-to-shore holiday celebration that has been a Northwest tradition since 1949. The Spirit of Seattle, the official Christmas ship is decorated with hundreds of twinkling white lights and sails to different Puget Sound waterfront communities during the holiday season (about 40 in all). Choirs perform for guests on board the ship and hundreds of brightly decorated privately owned boats follow the ship to listen and sing along, as well as communities gathered on shore. You’ll want to protect your skin while you’re outdoors enjoying the music with Advanced Moisture Crème’s added level of protection and hydration. It can be used day or night as a super moisturizing treatment and protective layer and is non-greasy and deeply penetrating for softer, smoother skin.

11/10-1/14/24. Not as long running as some other events, but nonetheless, WildLanterns is an enchanting and spectacular winter light show, returning for its 4th year at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. The show features more than 300 lanterns fashioned in the shapes of animals from around the world and beyond. And somehow, you’ll wind up going on the coldest night of the week. That’s why Moor Skin Balm is a comforting skincare option, providing a protective barrier to the elements while nourishing, healing, restoring, and reconditioning the skin. (Oily or blemish prone skin conditions may opt for a less occlusive moisturizer like Marine Hydration Crème with a few drops of Evening Primrose Oil mixed in or layered underneath).

12/9 & 12/16. Brace yourself for holiday mayhem at SantaCon, the annual gathering of folks parading the streets of Seattle dressed as Santa and other holiday creatures. For anyone who has an urge to roam about dressed as a merry elf, reindeer, Santa or whatever your imagination can envision, mark the date for SantaCon. It’s basically a street stroll/pub crawl showcasing costumes ranging from ugly holiday sweaters to bad Santas, naughty elves and even a Grinch or two. But all that camaraderie can take a toll on your skin, so we recommend a double cleansing after the festivities followed by our new AHA Mint Masque or Moor Multi-Fruit Face & Body Mask to detoxify and soothe away any residual remains of the evening.

11/24-12/24/23. According to centuries-old tradition, many German towns host Christmas or Holiday Markets in December. Each one is unique and features local artisans and festive regional foods. It’s a great time to enjoy some holiday cheer, sample local delicacies, shop for gifts and just enjoy the season. With festive holiday food and drink, gifts, and seasonal décor at more than 60 European and local artisan stalls, there’s plenty of opportunity to overindulge. Give your skin a recharge with a hydrating serum like our Hydro Collagen Serum or an antioxidant boost from Vitamin C Serum.
